Our hearts are broken as we share the loss of our precious baby girl, Catalina Azalee Escalera. She was deeply loved from the moment we found out she was on the way. Even though her time with us was far too short, she will always be a part of our family and forever in our hearts.

During my pregnancy, something unexpected and heartbreaking happened. My cervix began to dilate far too early while Catalina’s little heart was still beating. Despite how much we wanted to keep her safe and give her more time to grow, our sweet girl was taken from us far too soon. Catalina Azalee was already so loved and dreamed about. We imagined holding her, watching her grow, and giving her the life every parent hopes for their child.

During this difficult time, we are facing unexpected expenses related to medical care and memorial arrangements. We want to honor Catalina’s life in a meaningful way and give her the remembrance she deserves.
