On Friday, September 18, 2026, the Off-Broadway community lost our beloved friend and colleague Casey McDermott. Her passing was sudden and we are all grieving this loss, none more than her immediate family. Her husband, Kevin Carroll, is now facing a radically different future than the one he and Casey had been planning together.

The funds raised through this campaign will allow Kevin to navigate the coming weeks and months without having the financial pressure and worry of covering a mortgage, paying for funeral services, hospital bills, and all other day to day expenses on a single income. It will give him space to grieve.
