Despite the many miles and years between us, Carly and I became dear friends because of our dogs. Her quick sparkling wit, her kind soul, and beautiful heart shined like a lighthouse all the way across the ocean. She was truly special.
Carly tragically passed away shortly after her cholangiocarcinoma diagnosis in 2024. She was only 29 and her loss has been devastating to all who knew her. Her friendship was an irreplaceable gift and her memory will forever be a blessing.
Carly loved all animals and was a devoted mom to her pups, Harry and Jett, the latter of whom she adopted from Mid Antrim Animal Sanctuary (Northern Ireland). Please consider supporting this organization that was close to her heart.
More information about Mid Antrim Animal Sanctuary: Mid Antrim Animal Sanctuary has been in existence since 1996 and we concentrate our work on animal re-homing, education and relieving the distress and suffering of unwanted animals.
Mid Antrim Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit independent registered charity. We rely entirely upon the kindness and generosity of the people of Northern Ireland. The sanctuary is run by a small staff, aided by dedicated team of volunteers.
