From Melissa Williams: At around 11:45AM on Wednesday April 8th 2026, my partner of 13 years, and best friend for years prior, Cap Tomas Quin, collapsed at work during a personal training session he was teaching. He was immediately unresponsive and his fast-thinking client called 911 then performed CPR until the arrival of EMS. The same client called a mutual friend who called me. I was close and arrived while the medics were working on Cap. They had plenty of crew. They did everything correctly and administered him the best care possible. They transported him to Huntsville Hospital where he was pronounced dead. My world is shattered. I am destroyed. I don’t know how I am supposed to do this without him. I too keep hoping I can wake up from this noghtmare. I am sorry all of you wonderful people he loved so dearly are also feeling this soul-crushing loss. I cannot express how much your sharing of memories and pictures is helping me right now, so please PLEASE keep that shit coming. Thank you all for the support and the outpouring of love.
