Our hearts are heavy as we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved friend, Candi Phanthakeo, on August 9, 2025.

To know Candi was to know a sweetheart with a crazy, infectious love for life. She always had room in her heart for one more person, one more dog, and one more moment of joy. She loved hard and unconditionally. Her sudden departure has left a hole in the lives of everyone who loved her.

Candi leaves behind her devoted parents, Pheng Rordsalee and Balavone Phanthakeo, her five siblings (Deth Rordsalee, Heather Rordsalee, Victor Phanthakeo, Joey Soulivong, and Xaya Soulivong), her fiancé (Troy Mueller) and her four beloved dogs.

A funeral service to celebrate Candi’s life will be held on Saturday, August 16th, at Ryan's Mortuary, 137 N 8th St, Salina, KS 67401. The service will begin at 2:00 PM, followed by the cremation at approximately 3:30 PM.
