In Loving Memory of Bruce Biada

Namita Kapoor, ODC, and Rhythm & Motion are organizing this fundraiser for our beloved friend, teacher, and mentor, Bruce Biada. We are raising money to fund a tribute show to commemorate Bruce, the artist, dancer, and educator who passed away from a grave heart condition on May 16, 2023.

Bruce was a constant source of inspiration and love to his devoted students, friends and many fans throughout the world. His artistic excellence and brilliance was unique and rare - always seeking the best, most creative and authentic in his legendary teaching style and uniquely stylized choreography. Bruce was universally respected and beloved as a person, and as a consummate artist. His sense of joy, humor, and purpose in everything in life was a hallmark of his beautiful spirit. A generous, kind, caring and patient soul, we can never forget his contributions to our community. He is greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him and the thrill of witnessing his unique artistic genius.

Anything you can give is greatly appreciated. Your donation will go directly towards show costs - including rentals and refreshments for the many people we expect will attend the event. Any funds exceeding our goal will go towards the archiving and preservation of Bruce's legacy in the public education system.
