Brian K. Blake, 63, of Sarasota Florida passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025.

Brian graduated from Riverview High School in 1979 and obtained his pilots license at the age of 19. He started a successful home repair/remodeling business in 1983 (Home Services of Sarasota) and had many longtime, loyal clients until April 2000 when he begin a new career working in the intensive care unit at Sarasota Memorial Hospital as a Health Unit Coordinator/Cardiac Monitor Technician, retiring in April 2022.

Brian was a loyal, caring individual that his family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and even strangers could count on in their time of need at any time of day or night.

He enjoyed boating with his family and riding his motorcycle, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and going to their baseball games.

Brian is survived by his wife, Robyn, his daughter Jacquelyn Bishop (Zev), grandson’s Mason and Wyatt, his son Daniel, his sister, Barbara VanNostrand (Robert), his brother Brad, and many nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by his parents, Byron “Butch” Blake and Elizabeth “Bettie” Blake and his brother, Bruce Blake.

Brian will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

A Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 18, 2025 at Maloney Funeral Home 2401 Cattlemen Road, Sarasota, Florida 34232. A Celebration of Life and luncheon will follow at Sun Outdoors Sarasota in the Cypress Room, 7125 Fruitville Road, Sarasota Florida 34240.
