I created this Go Fund Me page on behalf of my sister Charisse Russell and her 3 children Drayk (10), Mila (7), and Nadia (4) to help during this difficult time with the loss of her husband and their dad.
Brad Russell unexpectedly passed away last Tuesday, February 18 at the young age of 47. His passing has left a void in so many lives. He was bigger than life - loving fiercely, always helping others, caring deeply, and laughing whole heartedly. My heart breaks for them all; the father who will not get to watch his children grow up, the 3 children who do not have a father to help raise and guide them, and his wife who has lost her everything. We can only hope that God will give them some peace knowing they will one day see him again in heaven.
During this time there are so many expenses that build up to be a great deal of money. From the hospital bills, funeral and memorial arrangements, to the burial and then, of course, living expenses for a family of 4 with no income. I know costs will amount to well over $25,000 but hopefully we can raise enough to help ease the burden and anxiety that comes from financial stress. It would be a gift to Charisse to be able to focus on helping her children through this difficult time without having to worry about daily expenses.
No amount is too small. Sending a loving message saying you are with them and sending your love and prayers is also appreciated. Any gesture or gift will be appreciated more than you know.
