It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved uncle, Bon Nguyen, who lost his battle with liver cancer today while surrounded by family and love.
Uncle Bon was a father, a brother, and someone who meant so much to all of us. Although his son lives in Vietnam, his love for him never wavered. Distance never lessened that bond. He carried his son in his heart every single day because family was everything to him.
Throughout his illness, he remained selfless and thoughtful, always asking about others even when he was the one in pain. He faced his diagnosis with quiet strength and dignity. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and a steady sense of calm to our family, and that is how we will always remember him.
Over the past month, he fought as hard as he could, but his body eventually grew tired. We are devastated by this loss, yet deeply grateful for the time we were given and the love he shared so freely with all of us.
Our family’s wish is to honor him in the way he would have wanted by bringing him home. We are planning to send his ashes to Vietnam so he can rest peacefully in his homeland, close to his son and ancestors. This involves funeral and cremation expenses, medical bills from his treatment, and the arrangements required to transport his ashes overseas.
As we navigate this heartbreaking time, we are asking for support to help ease the financial burden of these expenses. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will go directly toward honoring Uncle Bon’s life and fulfilling his final journey home.
If you are unable to donate, we kindly ask that you share this page and keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your love, support, and kindness during this difficult time.
With gratitude,
Tran Clan
