In Loving Memory of BJ "Stretch" Harden

With a heavy heart, we share the unexpected and profound loss of BJ "Stretch" Harden, who tragically passed in a motorcycle accident. BJ was more than just a son, husband, father, friend, veteran, and counselor—he was the heart of many communities and a pillar of support for everyone who knew him. BJ was a family man through and through, with a heart that beat for the ones he loved most. He was a devoted husband who stood steadfastly beside his wife, offering unwavering support and endless love. To his daughters, he was not just a father but a guiding light, a source of strength, and an enduring example of compassion and care. BJ held deep respect for his father—a bond built on admiration and shared experiences. His mother was his world, the source of his kindness and the woman he adored beyond measure.

Family wasn’t just important to BJ; it was the very essence of who he was. Every action, every word, every choice he made reflected his commitment to those he cherished. For BJ, family wasn’t just a relationship—it was a sacred connection that defined his life and left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to share in it.

He was a man of connection. He nurtured lifelong friendships with those he met in school, the military, and every chapter of his life. As the Vice President of Tracks Rydaz MC, founded by his big brother Larry, BJ poured his dedication into a brotherhood that became family. Whether riding alongside his brothers or enjoying hanging out at the shop, BJ’s presence was a source of strength and joy.

He was also deeply rooted in the fishing community across Central Texas, where his hobby became a cherished outlet to unwind, bond, and build friendships that turned into brotherhoods. BJ’s love for fishing reflected his approach to life—patient, purposeful, and full of heart.

BJ shared a special bond with his father through their bowling league at Fort Cavazos, where he earned admiration for his talent, even achieving a perfect 300. Though one of the youngest members, BJ’s relationships with his teammates and the staff were nothing short of extraordinary.

BJ’s loss leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of his family—his loving wife, children, parents, and countless friends. This journey ahead will be far from easy, but we know that with the support of our community, we will find solace and strength.

We are reaching out for your generosity and support during this difficult time to honor BJ’s memory and provide for the family he held so dear. Thank you for being part of his life and for standing with us now. Services will be held at Christian House of Prayer in Copperas Cove, 916 W Hwy 190, 76522. Viewing starts at 1130am. Please do not wear dark colors unless you're wearing motorcycle cuts. If you'd like to follow in the ride, please be at Chisolms Funeral Home, 3100 Old FM 440 Rd, Killeen, TX 76549 by 0945. The church will need about an hour for set up.
