With deep sorrow, we share the tragic passing of Bivekanand (Bivek) Mandal, a young Nepali student studying Computer Science in the UK. Bivek passed away on 2 February 2026 at Sunderland Royal Hospital after sudden breathing complications.

Bivek came to the UK in September 2023 with dreams of building a better future. He was kind, gentle, and hardworking. Sadly, he had no immediate family in the UK and limited financial means.

This fundraiser has been created to support repatriation to Nepal, funeral expenses, and direct assistance to his grieving family. All funds raised will be used solely for these purposes, to ensure Bivek receives a dignified farewell.
