In Loving Memory of Bincy Chu

Our friend, Bincy Chu, passed away unexpectedly November 24th, 2019 after what is commonly referred to as "battling cancer" for over a year. But there was nothing common about Bincy. She fought harder than a solider in the trenches to beat our plague. She beat breast cancer once and stayed positive until the end. But let's get into the real story. It's not the way she fought, and it's not that she died. That's not the story at all.

It's that she lived for a bunch of years and that she graced this planet with her presence. It's that she was amazing, totally unique and one of those rare and wonderful people you’re lucky to meet. It’s that she was the kindest, gentlest, bravest, most caring, most positive person you’ve ever met.

It’s that she was an integral part of her family, a loving wife to Cheng and an utterly devoted mother to Brandon (12) and Cara (10). It’s that she was a loving daughter to her parents, King and Lisa Chu, and a wonderful sister to her brother, Stephen Chu. It’s that she was a beloved friend to many, a dedicated Live Oak Kindergarten teacher and a pillar in our community.

Despite her many accomplishments and passions, her family remained her number one priority. She loved her children, Brandon and Cara with all her might. So today- in her loving memory- we ask you to celebrate her life, pay her kindness forward and keep her family in your thoughts and prayers.

A lot of you’ve reached out and asked how you can help- so thank you! We created this campaign as a way to bring everyone together and offer a place for messages and donations to be left. If you would like to donate, just click on the donate button. If you are unable to donate, please remember you can always leave messages for Cheng and the children to read; it means so much to them.

Thank you!
