To the Friends and Family of Bill Goggin
To those of you that may have already heard and to those that we have not yet been able to reach out to, we want you to know that our loving Bill passed away unexpectedly at home surrounded by his family from a massive heart attack on Saturday night, March 14th, 2020. He had a wonderful last day spending time with family and relaxing as the snow fell outside. He took it easy that day, which if you knew Bill was not something he did often. Bill was hard-working, generous, compassionate, and a family man above all else. His family always came first and meant the world to him. His personality was larger than life and he had a huge impact on everyone he was around. Having the pleasure of knowing him was a true gift and he will be dearly missed. Please know that your friendship and support through the years meant a great deal to him.
Bill was a loving husband, devoted father, a chivalrous brother, a caring son and reliant and compassionate friend to many. He is survived by his wife of 37 years and his three children. While he was taken far too soon he has reminded us all of the importance of telling your loved ones you love them because tomorrow is not promised. Make the most of each day and try something outside of your comfort zone.
During this uncertain time of world and local health concerns the opportunity to share in a “Celebration of Life” for Bill is currently not possible. We will reach out at a later date when we have a better idea of when this celebration can be held. We appreciate all the love, thoughts, prayers and support that are being sent our way.
Bill was looking forward to redoing his deck, updating his garden, and spending time enjoying his yard this summer that he worked so hard to create. To honor Bill we would like to carry out these plans. If you would like to contribute, we would greatly appreciate it.
We would also love to hear any stories, memories or pictures you have of Bill. If you would like to share these with us, please email them to [email redacted] .
Much love,
MaryEllen, Deidra, Kelsey & Evan Goggin
