In loving memory of Big Craig
Donation protected
To all of you that know our family, it is with great sadness that I share with you the loss of our beloved Big Craig. Our family has been on a roller coaster for the last week caring for him through a telephone with no way to see, touch or be near him. It started with him going to the VA to get tested for an upcoming surgery where he caught COVID without knowing and was then admitted into the ICU where he began to fight for his life to just breath. His lungs were damaged prior to the COVID from when he served two tours in Vietnam so when he contracted the virus it hit him so hard. Big Craig was a fighter. The doctors didn't give him more than 24 hours to live but he wouldn't give up. He fought for days asking to go home but the VA would not approve our request. Finally we found an out of pocket hospice company that would assist us in making Big Craig's wish come true. We got him HOME!!!
Within two hours of getting him home, he passed. We were blessed to be by his bed side to see him pass peacefully. With his unexpected passing and extra expenses with making his final wish come true, I ask that if anyone can make a donation and give to his Go Fund to help his wife Cindy at this time it would be so appreciated.
Please continue to keep our family in your prayers especially with the holiday approaching, the loss of Big Craig is a one that will take us time to move forward from. We love you all and thank you from our Family to yours, hug your loved ones a little longer and harder this holiday season!
