In Loving Memory of Beth Knutson

Hello all, First of all, thank you for viewing this page. From the family and loved ones of Beth Knutson, we appreciate the kindness and compassion received from near and far throughout this tragedy. From small to large, your support helps and we appreciate it so much. Thank you.

In the evening hours on October 30th, 2018 Beth Knutson, 29 (Beth Ann LaPointe) woke up her loving husband, Dustin Knutson, as she was experiencing respiratory difficulties. Within minutes Beth had collapsed in her Husband's arms and stopped breathing. Beth was quickly transported to the nearest hospital and was resuscitated twice along the way. It has been a long road of searching for answers and navigating through the medical system. She was comatose, being held on life support at North Memorial Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN for about two weeks before her family was faced with the difficult decision that no one ever should have to make for their loved one.

On Thursday, November 15th, 2018 Beth Ann was taken off life support in accordance with her wishes.

There will be a memorial service held for BethAnn in Monticello, MN (date and time still to be determined).

We are asking for support for the multiple medical bills incurred for her care, and the necessary expenses for her family in order to be by her side during this tragic time.

A little about Beth:
Beth was born on June, 17th 1989 in Rangeley, Maine where she grew up. She was the daughter of Robert (Leepo) LaPointe and Paula Haley-LaPointe. The little sister of Rosie LaPointe-Moreau, Robert LaPointe, Lauren Mulholland-Martin , Sara Mulholland-McCabe, Joseph Mulholland and Rebecca Mulholland. Beth was a loving, kind-hearted, mischievous and strong-willed woman who cared deeply for her family and friends near and far; and had a passion for adventure. She was so lucky to have met the love of her life, her Husband, Dustin Knutson in Rangeley, ME when he was working on the dam there. They quickly fell in love and after 22 days they were married in 2013, where they then traveled the United States together; exploring and making every day a new adventure. They lived in Dustin’s hometown of Monticello, MN with their dog, Whiskey.

Beth has faced much adversity and medical challenges in the past, but this has been her hardest fight ever. Her loved ones have been committed to helping Beth through this fight and making the best decisions for her. She will be greatly missed by so many. Thank you for supporting her loved ones. While the fight for her life may be over, the financial impact will stick around for a long time to come. Any contribution helps. Thank you again for the support and kindness from the bottom of our hearts.

Sincerely,
Beth and her loved ones
