We are all at a loss for words at the unexpected passing of our dear friend Bert Hill. If ever your paths crossed, his friendly smile and warmth likely touched your heart. He was a friend to so many, and he will be dearly missed. Bert was the sweetest man and dedicated his life to service. He was a Veteran and retired Volunteer Firefighter. He loved helping people and was dearly loved by his Mathis community. He was a wonderful husband, brother, father and grandfather. His 5 children and many grandchildren meant the world to him. He was a bright light in our lives and his loss will be felt by so many who loved him.
We are raising money to help his wife Delene Hill (Smith) to pay for Bert's cremation, medical expenses, and other
financial obligations. We want to relieve her of this financial burden. Delene is our precious cousin and we want to help her during this very difficult time.
