In Loving Memory of Benjamin Lizada

Hi everyone, my name is Brenli and my heart is broken to share that my father Benjamin P Lizada has passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 8, 2024.

We created this fundraiser to help fund my dad’s cremation, Celebration of Life, service, funeral and support for our grieving family. Anything helps and is much appreciated.

Ben has been battling Pancreatic Cancer for almost 2 years now. They found the mass back in November 2023 and doctors wouldn’t officially diagnose him for Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer until January 5th of this year. Ben wasn’t showing any major symptoms until it was too late. Doctors only gave him 6 months left to live because of how vigorous and painful Pancreatic Cancer is. He lived 8 months after his diagnosis. My dad went through 8 rounds of chemotherapy and the cancer shrunk 2cm in size. He then decided that his body couldn’t take it anymore and stopped the treatment because he believed it was doing more harm than good. Only to live 2 months after his last round of chemo. My father was the strongest, kindest and most caring man I know. I wish I had more time with him. He passed away with a smile on his face.

My father will be cremated here in Las Vegas, NV and he asked to be buried in Honolulu, Hawaii next to his mom who has also just passed on May 29, 2024.

I picked up my dad’s ashes from the crematorium Thursday, September 5th.

We will have Ben’s Celebration of Life On Friday, October 4, 2024 at Ala Moana Beach in Oahu, Hawaii. Ben’s burial will be the following day Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary. Please text or DM Brenli for more information.
