It’s with a deeply saddened heart that we make this Go Fund Me, In Honor of Beckie

To those who knew Beckie, you knew that she was one of the most independent and free spirited women you could ever meet. She lived her life as freely as one could, from enjoying a Margarita or a glass of wine, to smoking a cigarette on her balcony or playing her caveman keno. She loved to travel, including places like Paris, Graceland, Hawaii, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Vegas and of course her new found love in Laughlin Nevada.

Beckie always took pride in her appearance, getting her hair done every Saturday and her nails done frequently, along with facials and her eyelashes.

To me, Beckie was a grandmother and a second mom, we frequently went to dodger games together the whole summer of 2017, and when I stood with her for a couple months of 2021 she took me out almost every single day and we enjoyed each others company so much. Ciara always remembers being taken to the movies every Friday where Beckie would enjoy a hot dog, popcorn and her signature Diet Coke, as well as Disney on Ice. Beckie helped many create memories that will last a lifetime and we are so thankful to have been apart of that.

Beckie was Born on May 15, 1956 to Robert and Amparo, she was an only child and they loved her immensely, she had no kids so she gave all her love to all the family she had. Beckie was widowed from her husband Eric , whom which she shared countless years and memories with up until his sudden passing. A new chapter in her life began when she moved to Laughlin, where she met Alan Averill who she adored until her very last breath.

Beckie passed away suddenly on May 10, 2025 at 5:40 PM, surrounded by her immediate family. She left behind two beautiful dogs Blake and Charlie, she also left behind countless family members who will always adore and miss her.

This Go Fund Me is to fulfill Beckie’s wishes of being cremated. Due to finances her original plan was to have her ashes spread in San Pedro, but with the help of countless family and friends we would like to honor Beckie by letting her rest near her late husband Eric, as we knew that’s what her heart truly desired. We all love and miss you so much Beckie, thank you to everyone who reached out and sent their condolences, it still feels unreal that you aren’t with us but we will do our best to honor you and make sure you get the rest you truly deserve.. Rest In Peace Beckie..
