As a loving father, husband, brother, and cancer warrior --Bartolome has departed in peace to join his heavenly father after a long and hard fought battle with Stage IV gastric cancer.

Throughout his life, he was the living embodiment of self sacrifice, perseverance, and hard work --yet he never complained. Even towards the end of his battle, he would worry about his family needing to call off work to take him to last minute appointments, the financial cost of his care, and the mental toll his diagnosis was having on his loved ones. He was a selfless man who only thought about others.

Bartolome is survived by his son Andrew; loving wife Evelina; and siblings Margarita, Rodrigo, Lolita, Teresita, and Josefina. In addition to funeral expenses, a portion of the total contributions will go towards funding for Gastric Cancer research and to City of Hope. Details for his celebration of life to follow.
