In Loving Memory of Baby Leyla

It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of our beloved baby cousin, Leyla.

Leyla was deeply loved by everyone who knew her. Her sweet smile could brighten anyone’s day, especially her mommy’s. She was a happy, playful baby who brought so much joy and love into our lives.

Tragically, on December 12, 2025, Leyla passed away due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). She had been playing like a normal baby and then laid down to rest. When her brother and Mom checked on her, she was unresponsive. CPR was started immediately, and an ambulance was called right away. She was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where she was sadly pronounced deceased.

Her mother was inconsolable and continues to grieve the unimaginable loss of her daughter. While trying to remain strong for her two other children, the pain of losing Leyla is something no parent should ever have to endure.

The family has made the difficult decision to send baby Leyla to Ecuador, where she will be laid to rest. We are asking for help to cover funeral arrangements and transportation expenses during this heartbreaking time.

En amorosa memoria de la bebé Leyla

Con el corazón destrozado compartimos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida prima bebé, Leyla.

Leyla fue profundamente amada por todos los que la conocieron. Su dulce sonrisa podía iluminar el día de cualquiera, especialmente el de su mami. Era una bebé alegre y juguetona que trajo tanta felicidad y amor a nuestras vidas.

Trágicamente, el 12 de diciembre de 2025, Leyla falleció a causa del Síndrome de Muerte Súbita del Lactante (SMSL). Había estado jugando como cualquier bebé normal y luego se acostó a descansar. Cuando su hermano y mamá fue a verla, no respondía. Se inició RCP de inmediato y se llamó a una ambulancia enseguida. Fue trasladada al Hospital Lincoln, donde lamentablemente fue declarada fallecida.

Su madre quedó inconsolable y continúa atravesando el inimaginable dolor de perder a su hija. Aunque intenta mantenerse fuerte por sus otros dos hijos, la pérdida de Leyla es un dolor que ningún padre debería tener que soportar jamás.

La familia ha tomado la difícil decisión de enviar a la bebé Leyla a Ecuador, donde será sepultada. Pedimos ayuda para cubrir los gastos de los arreglos funerarios y el transporte durante este momento tan desgarrador.
