On September 21st, Ivy and Zach welcomed their precious son, Isaiah, into the world after a long and exhausting labor. What was meant to be a day of joy and celebration became the most heartbreaking day of their lives.

Ivy went into labor in the early morning hours, after four long hours of pushing, doctors realized something was terribly wrong and performed an emergency C-section. Baby Isaiah was born not breathing. The medical team worked tirelessly to bring him back, and though they were able to find a faint heartbeat, he needed immediate, specialized care.

Isaiah was life-flighted to the NICU at another hospital for emergency treatment, but just one hour into his care, devastating news came: he was not going to make it.

Ivy and Zach were brought to the NICU to spend precious time with their son and to say goodbye. They were able to hold him, love him, and share those sacred moments together before inviting family to say their own goodbyes.

Now, amid their grief, Ivy and Zach face overwhelming medical expenses — from the emergency C-section to the helicopter transport, NICU care, ambulance transfer for Ivy to be able to say goodbye, and hospital stays. This fund has been created by friends who want to help ease that financial burden so they can focus on healing and honoring Isaiah’s memory.

No parent should have to carry this weight alone. Every donation, no matter the size, is a way of saying: We see you. We love you. We are standing with you through this heartbreak.

All funds raised will go directly toward medical bills and related expenses. All additional funds will be donated to Autism charity, a small way for Isaiah to give to another cause in support of his brother Zayden.
