Finley’s funeral has been planned and will take place on Friday 7th November 2025, 2pm at South Leicestershire Crematorium Foston Road, Countesthorpe, Leicester LE8 5QP.

On 2nd September 2025, our family’s world was shattered when baby Finley was tragically stillborn.

Finley’s parents, Kane and Leanne, are living every parent’s worst nightmare - losing their precious boy before they even had the chance to bring him home. He was stillborn, weighing 8 lbs and 5 ounces. To make this heartbreak even harder to process, the cause of Finley’s passing is not yet known. A hospital enquiry and postmortem are currently taking place, adding further pain, uncertainty and trauma to an already devastating time.

Amid this grief, they are now faced with the significant costs that come with laying their baby to rest and honouring his memory:

-Funeral arrangements (once Finley’s body is released)

-Burial costs, including lease of the land and headstone

-Celebration of life to honour Finley surrounded by family and friends

No parent should have to think about finances at a time like this. Our hope is that, with the kindness of friends, family, and our wider community, we can lift some of this burden so that Kane and Leanne can focus on grieving and remembering Finley with love.
