In Loving Memory of Baby Emerson
Donation protected
Emerson only lived a few short weeks, but he changed our hearts forever.
On Thursday, June 12th, our lives were shattered when our beautiful nephew, William Emerson, passed away unexpectedly at just 23 days old.

We are sharing this on behalf of our youngest sister, Bethany Minnick, who is completely devastated by the loss of her precious baby boy. Her last post was his birth announcement. Now, just weeks later, we are grieving a loss so profound it is difficult to put into words.

Many of you know that Bethany endured a grueling pregnancy, filled with constant ER visits, hospital stays, and near-complete isolation without the support of a partner. She went through it all, largely on her own, driven by a deep love for the son she couldn't wait to meet.

Just days ago, she told us something we can't stop thinking about:
“He was worth every bit of how horrible the pregnancy was.”
That is how deeply she loved him. We wish you could have witnessed just how much she loved her little boy. Emerson was doing well and growing fast. His sudden loss is a shock that no one was prepared for, and we truly don’t think there is a pain deeper than a mother losing her child.

As Bethany’s eight siblings, we are forming a circle of support around her, but we know the road ahead is long and will require more than we alone can provide. Many have reached out asking how they can help, and we have created this GoFundMe to provide a tangible way to offer support.
The funds raised will go directly to Bethany to help ease the overwhelming financial burdens she now faces. This includes:
- Emergency medical bills
- Funeral and burial expenses
- Time away from work and grief-related needs
- Any other immediate and unexpected costs that come with losing a child
Our primary goal is to allow her to focus entirely on healing from this unimaginable trauma.

If you feel moved to support Bethany and honor Emerson’s life, any donation is deeply appreciated. Even if you can’t give, please consider sharing this page and keeping Bethany in your prayers. She will need so much love and support in the days, weeks, and months ahead.

Thank you for standing with us during this dark moment of our lives.
With love and gratitude,
