It is with great sadness and disbelief that we announce the sudden and very unexpected passing of Avak “Avo” Sofiyev on December 10, 2022.

The world has lost a beloved father, husband, and friend. Avo was one of a kind. He was generous, caring, hilarious, and intelligent. He made an impact on everyone he came into contact with. He was full of life.

Avo was senselessly murdered in a random act of violence. Avak was innocent and was taken too soon from his wife and his sons Bentley (9) and Brody (7).

We want to give Avak the memorial he deserves to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. During this time, if you would like to help his family so they can focus on healing from this horrible tragedy, any and all donations will help tremendously.
