It is with our deepest sorrow that we create this GoFundMe following the sudden passing of our beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, Athing Majok.

Losing her has been incredibly difficult. Her passing has deeply affected the wellbeing of so many, which only reflects the pivotal role she played in all our lives.

From a young age, Athing had a rare gift, she could put a smile on anyone’s face, no matter the circumstance. She was endlessly talented, always genuine, and had a remarkable ability to give to others without hesitation. Her intentions were pure, her heart was full, and her presence made life brighter for everyone around her.

Not only has Athing left behind the life that was still ahead of her, but she has also left a permanent mark on this earth. We are creating this GoFundMe in hopes of giving her a farewell that is as special and meaningful as the life she lived and the one she would have continued to build.
