My name is Angelica Carrillo Noguera, and I am raising this GoFundMe in honor of my little sister, Astrid Carrillo Noguera.

On April 24th, 2026, our lives changed forever when she passed away in a tragic traffic accident. This loss has left our family heartbroken in ways that are hard to put into words.

Astrid was truly the light of our home. She was the happiest person you could meet—always finding a way to make others smile, even during the hardest times. She had such a beautiful, vibrant spirit. She loved fashion, makeup, and expressing herself, and she carried so much confidence and joy everywhere she went.

She was born in Venezuela on 08/08/2008, something she always proudly talked about—it was her little “flex.” She was full of life, full of dreams, and most importantly, she was deeply loved. She wasn’t just my sister… she was our baby, our little girl.

Astrid was also so excited for her future. She had been looking forward to attending Loyola University this upcoming fall as a marketing and international business major. She had so much ahead of her, so many dreams she was ready to chase.

During this incredibly difficult time, our family is asking for your support to help cover funeral and memorial expenses as we honor her life and say our goodbyes. Any contribution, no matter how small, means so much to us.

El 24 de abril de 2026, nuestras vidas cambiaron para siempre cuando ella falleció en un trágico accidente de tránsito. Esta pérdida ha dejado a nuestra familia con un dolor imposible de describir con palabras.

Astrid era verdaderamente la luz de nuestro hogar. Era la persona más alegre que podías conocer—siempre encontraba la manera de hacer reír a los demás, incluso en los momentos más difíciles. Tenía un espíritu hermoso y lleno de vida. Le encantaba la moda, el maquillaje y expresarse a través de su estilo; siempre llevaba su confianza y alegría a donde iba.

Nació en Venezuela el 08/08/2008, algo de lo que siempre se sentía orgullosa—era su pequeño “flex.” Estaba llena de vida, de sueños y, sobre todo, era profundamente amada. No era solo mi hermana… era nuestra bebé, nuestra niña.

Astrid también estaba muy emocionada por su futuro. Estaba por comenzar en Loyola University este próximo otoño, donde planeaba estudiar marketing y negocios internacionales. Tenía toda una vida por delante, con tantos sueños que estaba lista para cumplir.

En este momento tan difícil, nuestra familia les pide su apoyo para poder cubrir los gastos funerarios y los arreglos necesarios para honrar su vida y despedirnos de ella. Cualquier ayuda, sin importar la cantidad, significa muchísimo para nosotros.
