In Loving Memory of Ashley Golden - Honoring Her Legacy
Donation protected
It is with shattered hearts that we share the passing of Ashley Golden, a vibrant and compassionate young woman, daughter of Brian and Crystal Golden, who tragically lost her life far too soon.
On May 31, 2025, Ashley passed away after succumbing to severe injuries sustained in a devastating accident. She had been placed in a medically induced coma due to the extent of her injuries and, despite her strength, she peacefully passed with her family by her side.
Ashley’s passing came just weeks after enduring a series of serious health challenges. On her birthday in December, she was diagnosed with Influenza A. Though she recovered enough to start her first semester at Utah State University, the illness developed into a persistent sinus infection, eventually leading to bacterial meningitis and a blood clot on her brain. She underwent emergency surgery and began to recover at home—resilient and determined, just as she had always been.
To lose her now, just as her future was beginning, is beyond heartbreaking.
Ashley had a deep love for children and dreamed of becoming a teacher. While working at a daycare, she was especially moved by the children who had so little. It broke her heart to see any child go without, and she often talked about her desire to make sure every child felt seen, loved, and supported.
In lieu of flowers or financial assistance for the family, Brian and Crystal are creating a memorial fund in Ashley’s name that will support underprivileged children—something Ashley cared deeply about.
This GoFundMe has been set up to help launch that effort. Donations will go directly toward initiatives that reflect Ashley’s spirit and legacy—giving to the kids she wanted to lift up and love.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on:
Thursday, June 5th at 6:00 PM
Oakridge Country Club
1492 Shepard Lane, Farmington, UT
Thank you for helping us honor Ashley’s life in a way that continues the kindness she showed so freely. Your support means the world to the Golden family.
