On Friday, February 24th, Ashley Cook unexpectedly passed away due to a blood clot in her lung. She is leaving behind her children and loving husband who are heartbroken and lost. You could always find Ashley chasing Charlie around the ball diamond and being the biggest supporter of her daughter Lilly on the mound. Lilly currently plays for the Mustangs and is set to suit up for the Pendleton Heights Arabians this coming season as a freshman.
As Lilly's pitching coach and Ashley's friend, I have started a funeral fundraiser to help cover the cost of her funeral expenses. Nobody was prepared for the high cost of a funeral, and during this difficult time we are reaching out to the community for help. In my personal opinion, there are no great communities than the softball and Pendleton ones to rally around this family and show them love and support during this truly unimaginable time.
Please consider donating if you can, as any amount will truly help. If we exceed our goal, any additional funds will be used to ensure Charlie can remain in ABA therapy and Lilly can remain involved in softball.
Thank you so much for your consideration!
