In Loving Memory of Ashish Kotak

Ashish Kotak, age 44, passed away unexpectedly in Dallas, Texas leaving behind his family and two young children.
On March 6, 2019, Ashish started his day out with a Men's Bible study, followed by a routine physical at his doctor's office. He drove to work and went about his usual schedule, just like any other day.
After eating lunch at his desk, he experienced some discomfort and dizziness. When his co-workwers took notice, he dismissed it as some minor uneasiness, and said he would be alright, and then went into the restroom.
When he did not return to his desk for a while, his colleages became concerned. They went to check on him and discovered him on the floor, incoherent. They called 911, and paramedics rushed him to the hospital in the ambulance. Sadly, he passed away en route to the hospital and all resuscitation attempts were unsuccessful. Eventually, the cause was traced to a pulmonary embolism.
His tragic and untimely death has devastated his family, especially his two young children - Karuna, age 12 and Daniel, age 10. Ashish loved his family dearly and was a great provider. He was a dedicated son, husband, father, brother and a great friend to all. Ashish was loved by many and we want to honor him and celebrate his life and legacy in the best way we can.
As you all can imagine, the family is grieving as they try to cope with this difficult loss. Learning how to live without him will not be easy by any means. Although his passing has left a void which can never be filled in their lives, we would like to show the Kotak family the love and support they need at this time.
How can you help?
We have an immediate need to help cover:
- Funeral arrangements and burial expenses, as well as travel expenses for Ashish's family coming from India to attend his funeral.
- We would also like to raise funds for Karuna and Daniel's future education.
