Kia Ora whanau and Friends,

It is with great sadness at this time to inform our whanau and friends of the sudden passing of our brother Arnold Te Wano Patea, who took flight early Thursday 24 October morning in Sydney, Australia.

Arnold was a loving Son to Tawhitopou and Geneva Patea (both deceased). Father to Teneile and Mitchell. Grand father to Paris, Kaise and Herro. Brother to Jay (deceased), Bernadine, Lesley and Kevin, Trieste, Emily, Tania and Shaun. Loved Uncle and Great Uncle to many. Also loved by our Mcritchie, Bishop and Hiroti whanau.

As details are yet to come regarding his tangihanga (Aotearoa NZ) we will let you all know in time as we head to Australia to bring him home.

Mon 27/10 Arnold's viewing (max 2hrs) is at Lance & Alice King Funerals, 10 Jane St, Blacktown. Time is 3.30pm-6pm.

Tues 27/10 @ 9.40am is the main service for Arnold at Pine Grove Cemetery, Western Highway, Minchinbury (20 mins from Blacktown)

I know not everyone is in a position to give, but if you can, any kind Donations/Koha can help take away some financial burdens of the unexpected funeral expenses and to give the whanau time to grieve.

And if you can’t give monetarily, please uplift this family in thoughts and karakia (prayers) as they face such a huge loss.
