Anna Vega was our beloved mother, and her absence leaves a deep ache in our hearts. Anna was a single mother who faced many difficulties throughout her life. She endured physical, mental, and emotional abuse early on, which kept her from being a mother to her first two children. As much as she loved them, missed them, and wanted to be a part of their lives, she was not able to. Despite doctors telling her she could never have children again, Anna found hope and joy when she met our father and had us.
Anna grew up without both parents in her life; however, she decided that she did not want to continue that cycle. She made a promise that she would never leave our side, and she kept that promise until the very end. Her love extended beyond her children to her grandson, whom she cherished deeply. Becoming a grandmother brought her immense happiness, and spending time with her grandson was one of her greatest joys. Even in her final weeks, Anna made sure he knew how much she loved him. One of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do was tell her eight-year-old grandson that his grandmother had gone to be with God.
Anna’s lifelong wish was to be buried in a cemetery where her family and loved ones could visit her. Unfortunately, we do not have the funds to grant her this, but we hope that with support, we will be able to fulfill this final wish of hers for all that she's had to endure in life and for all that she has done for us. Your support will help us honor her memory and give her the resting place she wished for.
