In Loving Memory of Andrew Smith: A Future for Our Children
Donation protected
It is with great sadness that I share the devastating news of Andrew Smith's recent passing. Andrew was an extraordinary man — a loving husband, a devoted father to our children (Elizabeth, Evangeline, Evander, and Ezechiel), a faithful servant of God, a loyal employee, a dedicated Scouting America den leader, and a cherished friend to so many. His sudden departure has left an immense void in our lives and in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
Andrew was truly the cornerstone of our family. His infectious laughter, unwavering support, and endless love created a home filled with joy and security. He always prioritized our children, nurturing their dreams and cheering them on in every endeavor.
As we navigate this unimaginable grief, we are also faced with the challenge of building a future without him. Andrew always dreamed of providing the best opportunities for our children, especially ensuring they would have the chance to pursue higher education. He sincerely believed in the power of knowledge and networking, and the doors they could open for our children.
In place of flowers, which will eventually fade, I humbly ask for your support in honoring Andrew's memory by contributing to a college fund for Elizabeth (9th grade), Evangeline (7th grade), Evander (4th grade), and Ezechiel (2nd grade). This fund will be dedicated to their future education, helping to cover tuition, books, and living expenses as they pursue their dreams.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will be a profound gift that directly impacts their ability to achieve the education their father so deeply wished for them. It will be a lasting tribute to his love and his dedication to their success.
Your kindness and generosity during this challenging time mean more to us than words can express. Your support will not only honor Andrew's legacy but also help secure a foundation for our children's independent futures. Thank you for helping us carry forward Andrew's legacy by investing in the bright futures of Elizabeth, Evangeline, Evander, and Ezechiel.
With deepest gratitude,
