On behalf of Andy's family, thank you to everyone who has donated and contributed to this fundraiser. The support, care, online tribute messages, and amount raised is astonishing, and we are eternally grateful. It is heartwarming to see the impact Andy made on everyone. To have reached the intended target in under 24 hours was astonishing, and goes to show the reach of Andy's network, friends, and family who cared for him.
The funds raised through this fundraiser will help the family with the costs of the funeral, wake, and memorial bench, with the remaining being donated to a local charity, Hector's House, a mental health awareness charity who do great work to support the local area. Thank you so much to everyone, it means so much.

On the morning of Saturday 8th February, the news was shared of the tragic passing of Andy Day, who was known by many as local legend, Skinny. The news has shocked and affected many and left a hole in our lives and hearts. Skinny touched many, many people, pockets of friends all over the local area whom he dearly loved, cherished, and wanted to spend time with.
His family and friends meant the world to him. A son, one of three, with two brothers, a grandson, an uncle, a friend, a colleague, and everything in between.
To help support Andy's family during this difficult time, with their blessing, Sue and Graham, mother and father to Andy, together, we have set up a fundraiser to help support costs for the funeral, wake, memorial bench, and support of a chosen charity (TBC). These funds will be distributed according to the family's wishes; welcoming any further ideas people may have (Please get in touch if you have any you would like to share).
This will greatly help alleviate the financial strain on Andy's family during this difficult time. Any amount can be donated, with every penny going a long way in supporting the family.
How to share images and videos (To be compiled into a long video)
Below you can find a link to a Google Drive folder. This platform allows people to upload multiple photos and videos into a shared location for others to view. These will be compiled for the ceremony and wake for everyone to view, then uploaded to YouTube for people to watch back.
