My name is Jasmin. I’m the granddaughter of our beloved grandfather, Andres Ochoa. I am writing this in hopes to help my grandma & family to lay him down to rest peacefully in ways he would want us to. Andres was a man who showed love in many ways. He has impacted all of our lives in different ways. He was the life & rock of our lives. Andres was a great friend to many people in our community. He always knew how to make people laugh with his witty jokes, his laughter alone, his random acts of dancing whenever he heard any kind of music he liked.. He’s deeply missed by his loved ones. The past couple weeks have been hard. He became very ill was in and out of hospitals starting two weeks ago. I quit my job to obtain responsibilities of making sure he was ok through his hospital visits, as well as taking care of our grandmother and our 2 younger sisters whom they’re guardians of.

As of Monday September 19, he took his last breath in his house he’s lived in for almost 40 years. Andres leaves behind a wife, 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, his siblings, nieces, & nephews.

This drastic change has left his loved ones with the heaviest heart.
