Our family is devastated by the sudden loss of Andrea Casella on December 17, 2025. Andrea was so fun to be around — always ready to laugh, always making others feel welcome, and always the first to step in when someone needed help. Throughout her life, she faced her share of challenges, but she met them with determination. She never stopped working to grow and to build a life she was proud of. Andrea’s legacy is one of love, laughter, deep devotion to her family and friends, and a constant drive to be her best — for herself and for the people she loved.
We know many are still waiting for more information about her passing, but we don’t have any updates yet. We’re grateful for everyone’s patience and for the privacy we’ve been given during this incredibly difficult time. We will share more information when it becomes available.
We’ve created a GoFundMe to support her fiancé, children, and grandchildren as they navigate this heartbreaking loss and honor the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. Our goal is to honor Andrea by caring for the family she loved more than anything. Any contribution, no matter the amount, means more than we can express. If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing the link helps tremendously and is deeply appreciated.
If you have photos, stories, or memories to contribute, please reach out to Crystal Lux, Heather German, or Shelly Essary. Seeing Andrea through the eyes of the people she loved means so much to us. Thank you for helping us carry her love and legacy forward.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Centennial Park Event Hall (North Liberty) on January 16, 2026 — Andrea’s birthday, a day she always loved and celebrated with joy. Final details will be shared as soon as they are confirmed.
