In Loving Memory of Amancio Jimenez

On February 3rd, 2024, my best friend and dad, suffered a heart attack and despite all efforts to resuscitate him, he did not make it. He passed away that afternoon, the day before his 66th birthday. My dad was a special kind of person. He was giving, loving, witty, and the most selfless person I have ever met. I’m sure those of you that knew him would agree.

Although a few months ago we learned that he had a heart condition, we never expected or knew this could happen. He was receiving treatment and was scheduled to get a pacemaker on February 14. Unfortunately, he never made it to his birthday or to this life changing surgery.

As most of you know, both my parents were gone in Mexico for 15 years and had only been back for just under a year. We lost so much time together and our time back together was cut far too soon. With this unexpected and tragic death, we are left with costly funeral expenses as well as other expenses as my parents were still settling in and figuring out their new lives here in the United States.

Amancio Jimenez was an honorable, well known, and respected man. He was loved and cherished by all those around him. He leaves behind two sons, Carlos Jimenez and Christopher Jimenez and his wife, Maria, of over 30 years. He also leaves behind his first and only granddaughter, Everly Jimenez, who he loved dearly. There is nothing Amancio wouldn’t do for his family, above all, his wife. They shared a love that is nearly unheard of. They loved eachother deeply and shared an incomparable bond. They were inseparable and promised to never leave eachother. The same love they shared when they first met is the same love they shared to the very end.

In these trying times, we respectfully ask for your donations to give my father the services he deserves and to be able to honor his life the way he deserves. All donations will go to cover funeral expenses and to support my mom as she learns to navigate this life without her husband by her side.
