In Loving Memory of Alvin Wright

It is with a heavy heart that I share that Alvin Wright, our dear crossing guard, passed away a couple of days ago. It has been almost a year since Alvin had a severe stroke.

Alvin was so much more than our beloved crossing guard. He was a steady, joyful presence in our lives. His strength and determination in this past year have been truly inspiring.

Alvin will never be forgotten. He showed up daily with kindness and care, and his spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of crossing his path. He brought joy, safety, and light into our school community—and that legacy will stay with us always.
