On the 4th of December, our beloved Alice Serwaa was involved in a devastating road accident while traveling back to Kumasi after visiting family in Accra during her holiday in Ghana. Tragically, Alice lost her life at the scene. She was only there to spend time with the people she loved most, a trip that no one imagined would end this way.
Three people were in the vehicle, Alice, the driver, and her younger brother. Her younger brother is currently in hospital, fighting for his life.
This heartbreaking tragedy has left a family shattered… and two precious little girls without their loving mother.
Alice was the definition of strength and kindness. A devoted mother, a hardworking woman, and a bright presence in the community. She lived in Leeds and worked at Leeds Teaching Hospital, caring for others with compassion and dedication every single day. Her warm smile, caring heart, and selfless nature touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Now, her daughters, ages just 4 and 6, must grow up without their mummy. They have lost the person who meant the world to them.
We are kindly asking for your support during this unimaginable time. Donations will help:
Support Alice’s two young daughters.
Assist with funeral and memorial arrangements
Provide help to the family as they navigate this tragedy.
Support her injured brother’s ongoing hospital care
No amount is too small, every contribution will help lift this family in their darkest moment. If you are unable to donate, please share this fundraiser to help us reach others who may extend a helping hand.
Alice gave so much love during her life. Now, we come together to give love back. ❤️
Thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers.
May Alice rest in perfect peace.
May her brother continue to fight and recover.
And may her daughters always feel their mother’s love around them.
️ Forever in our hearts, Alice Serwaa. ️
