On December 29th, our community lost a beloved friend, creator, and supporter, Ali Jobe.

Ali was an original member of the Founders & Friends community and a constant presence, showing up, supporting others, and uplifting everyone around him. Through his passion for creative storytelling, especially via his Upward & Onwards podcast, Ali shined a light on the Rhode Island startup and creative ecosystem with one simple goal: to elevate the people building here.

Ali’s passing was sudden and deeply heartbreaking. He leaves behind his fiancée, Katie, whom he was set to marry in 2026, along with family and loved ones now facing an unimaginable loss.

This fundraiser has been created to support Ali’s family during this incredibly difficult time and help cover:
