On Tuesday, June 26th, 2018 the world lost a bright light when our friend and co-worker, Alex Roman passed away.
We all worked with Alex in different capacities. Some of us had the fortune of daily interactions where we were able to not only talk about business but also our lives and other events such as sports. Others may have had more limited interactions where they asked for his opinion or his help with different projects. There are still others in offices outside of Phoenix that had the pleasure of working with or getting to know Alex in many different ways. Regardless, Alex had an impact on the company as a whole.
What is most important to remember is not the tragedy of his death, but the gift of his life. Alex was a gentle, caring, beautiful person who always had kind words to say, and actually took the time to SAY them. He was sincere and thoughtful when he spoke, and made sure that what he had to say made an impact.
Alex’s presence will be missed, especially during major sports events like Spring Training, March Madness or now with the World Cup. For those of us who got to experience Alex’s friendship, this Go Fund Me page has been set up as an opportunity for us to give back! Alex’s family will be given the opportunity to use the funds we raise to remember their son in a way they best see fit. Every bit is appreciated whether it be $5, $10, $20 or $100.
