On October 2, 2025, we lost our dear friend Alex (known to many online as Afterman7). Alex was a bright, kind, and creative soul whose presence touched countless lives, both in person and through the communities he helped build. His loss leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.
In the wake of this tragedy, we want to come together to support Alex’s family. The funds raised here will go directly toward helping cover medical and memorial expenses as well as providing financial relief during this devastating time to his wife and children.
If you knew Alex, you know how deeply he cared about others. He was quick with a laugh, a word of encouragement, or simply a quiet presence that made people feel less alone. Even in the online spaces he called home, Alex built friendships that stretched across the world.
We invite anyone who knew Alex — whether personally or through his gaming and streaming community — to join us in honoring his memory. Every donation, no matter the size, helps ease the burden on his family. Just as important are your messages of love and remembrance, which will mean so much as they grieve.
