In Loving Memory of Al Bibeau
Donation protected
Dear BHS Alumni and Friends,
On February 3, 2021 we were deeply saddened to learn that beloved BHS teacher, Mr. Al Bibeau, passed away suddenly, leaving our community heartbroken. Since 1974, Mr. Bibeau has been part of the fabric of Bethel High School, teaching Social Studies, English, and many college level courses. As a true and dedicated Wildcat, Mr. Bibeau will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, his appreciation of all things history (especially John F. Kennedy), and most importantly, the compassion and love he had for the students of BHS. Aside from his vast historical knowledge, Mr. Bibeau will be remembered for his love of music, his passion for the Patriots, and for having a quotation for every occasion. He will be deeply missed by his colleagues and the thousands of students who crossed his path during the past 46 years.
As the President for the Class of 2017, I have started a fundraiser to help cover the cost of a memorial that will be located in the Social Studies wing at Bethel High School. We would like to include in the memorial, some of his favorite quotes and any memories the community may have. Please take a minute to fill out the Google Form here with your favorite “Bibeau-isms” and some of his favorite, historical quotes.
If we exceed our goal, any additional funds will be used to create a scholarship for the 2021 graduates in his memory.
Thank you so much for your consideration.
