It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Akah Core’s passing after a courageous battle with stomach cancer.

For decades, Akah was a fixture at Brae Burn Country Club. Always dependable, kind, and ready with a word of encouragement, he mentored younger caddies, built lasting friendships with members, and embodied the very best of our community.

In lieu of flowers, we invite friends, caddies, members, and all who knew Akah to contribute to this memorial fund in his honor. All donations will go directly toward supporting Akah’s family and covering memorial expenses, helping to ensure that his legacy lives on.
