Our hearts are shattered as we share the sudden passing of our beloved Aja “Bui” Vongsy. To know Bui was to know laughter, honesty, and unconditional love. She always told it like it was, cared deeply for everyone around her, and had a way of making you feel like family.

Bui never had children of her own, but she spoiled her nieces, nephews, and her best friends’ kids as if they were hers. She raised us, took us everywhere with her, and loved us fiercely. She was endlessly generous, always spoiling everyone around her with both love and care. Her loud, vibrant personality and her even bigger heart lit up every room she walked into.

Many of you have reached out asking how you can support our family during this time. After much thought, we have humbly decided to create this GoFundMe. The funds will help with funeral services, memorial costs, family travel, and medical expenses, as well as supporting her loved ones as we get everything situated at home and honor Bui’s memory in the way she deserves.

We are still in the process of making arrangements for funeral services and will share details with her family and friends once finalized.
