We are raising funds to support the family of Adrian, who passed away suddenly and far too soon.

Adrian was originally from Australia and had been living in the United States for the past 12–14 years. His entire family—his mother and sisters—still live in Australia. After receiving the devastating news of his passing, his mom and two sisters had to make last-minute arrangements to travel across the world to the United States to handle his affairs.

The cost of emergency international flights alone was enormous. While here, they are faced with clearing out the home he was renting, placing his belongings into storage, and sorting through personal items—some of which they hope to bring back to Australia. They are also responsible for hotel stays, food, transportation, and many unexpected expenses during their time in the U.S.

In addition, the family must navigate closing accounts, communicating with his employer, working with government agencies, and resolving any outstanding matters. They will also be covering cremation costs and the transportation of his remains back to Australia.

His family should be focused on grieving and supporting one another during this unimaginable loss—not bearing the heavy financial and logistical burden of traveling across the world to put their son and brother’s affairs in order.

Adrian was one of my close friends and his family was also very near and dear to me and I am hoping we can find them some relief in a very sad, unfortunate, and unexpected time!
