In Loving Memory of Adam Salih

It is with deepest sadness and heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of our beautiful eldest child and only son, Adam Salih. He was 20 years old and a student at Queen Mary University. He was an academically gifted child and a truly gentle soul who had a love of learning. He taught himself Arabic, French, Latin, the art of drawing and how to play the flute in just the last three years.

Words cannot express our deep sense of grief and loss and we ask you to remember him by name in your prayers; may Allah embrace him with His infinite Mercy and Forgiveness, raise him amongst the righteous on the Last Day, and honour him with a place in Jannat al-Firdaws. Ameen.

We are inviting you to kindly help us raise Sadaqa Jariyah funds in his loving memory. We hope to build hand pumps and water wells in Malawi, Ethiopia, Sierra Leone and Pakistan through the charity Ummah Welfare Trust. We aim to raise £21000 which will fund as many pumps/wells in each location, as funds allow.


Our first two targets of £8500 and then £15000 were both reached thanks to the generosity of you all, so we have now increased it to a final target of £21000 to commemorate what would have been Adam's 21st birthday.

May Allah accept the sadaqah in Adam's name and make it a source of reward both for you and our much loved son. Ameen.
