On December 2nd, our small family tested positive for Covid-19. My moms symptoms were tolerable and she felt she was getting better. Unfortunately, on December 6th at 2:27pm, her symptoms worsened rapidly and she was rushed to the hospital but it was too late. My dad and I were devastated to know that she was gone, but we were hopeful that we would get better. On December 7th I noticed him begin to breathe slightly faster, and decided to take him to the emergency room so he could receive the care that he needed. I spoke with nurses and doctors everyday to check on how he was doing all the way up until January 2nd. The doctors let me know that his heart was getting weaker and that they did everything they could to help him, but the virus had taken over. My dad fought a long and hard battle in hopes of coming back home to me, but on January 2nd at 7:20pm, he took his last breath and joined my mom up in heaven. Never would I have imagined that I would lose them both to this virus, but I find peace in knowing that they don’t have to fight any sickness anymore and they’re both resting. With their passing, they have left our family devastated as we were all very close despite living far away from each other. My parents worked very hard, and they gave me the world. As the only child, I considered myself spoiled, but not in a materialistic way. I felt spoiled with all the unconditional love that they showed me everyday. I know times are tough with the ongoing pandemic but any donation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. ❤️
