As’salaamu alaykum,

Our beloved Abida Begum has returned to Allah ﷻ, leaving behind beautiful memories of love, patience, and faith. While we deeply feel her absence, we pray that Allah ﷻ grants her forgiveness, showers her with mercy, fills her resting place with light, and admits her into the gardens of Jannah among the righteous. She was a kind soul – gentle, caring, and always thinking well of others. She leaves behind her loving parents and siblings who cherish her deeply. We ask Allah ﷻ to grant them patience, strength, and peace during this difficult time.

To honour her memory, we are coming together to build a water well as sadaqah jariyah (ongoing charity). This well will be a source of life and benefit to many, and in’sha’Allah, a continuous source of reward for her in the hereafter.

We invite you to take part in this effort – through your duas, contributions, or by sharing this cause. May Allah accept it from us all, and may every drop of water drawn from this well be a means of mercy and elevation for Abida Begum.
