No amount of words could describe the amazing person my little brother was. Aaron Fabian Peña was a person full of love, warmth, happiness, & laughter. It breaks my heart to say that this truly beautiful soul was taken from his family, friends, & loved ones much too soon.
On Sunday, 12/21/2025, at around 8:30 a.m., Aaron was involved in a motorcycle accident that tragically took his life. Stolen from us just two days before his 21st birthday, we now somehow find ourselves planning his funeral rather than celebrating with him.
Aaron was a loving son. A brother — both little & older. And the truest friend you could ever ask for. He was a jokester—the guy you could always count on to make you laugh. Those who knew him would tell you that he was never not seen smiling — a smile that could light up a room. He was an amazing soccer player — a force to be reckoned with. And he was an adventurous person, who lived life to the fullest each & everyday. He loved to eat korean barbecue, drink monster energy drinks (except for the guava flavor), spicy food — the spicer the better, and cherished his favorite cartoon characters such as Stich, Garfield, & Snoopy. He loved anything and everything that had to do with penguins. But most of all, he loved doing what he did last — riding his motorcycle. Riding was what he loved to do most; it was where Aaron felt the most free. And when Aaron rode, he rode fearlessly.
Aaron had the biggest heart and the brightest mind. He loved science and math. He worked hard in school and earned good grades, all while working at his beloved McDonalds. And Aaron was so excited for what his future had in store for him. Because something to know about Aaron was that he was a person full of passion; once he had his mind set on something nothing could stop him from reaching that goal.
We are raising funds to help cover funeral and memorial expenses due to this unexplainable sudden and unexpected loss. Although our lives have been forever changed, not even this heartache will stop us from doing everything we possibly can to celebrate Aaron’s life, the way it deserves to be celebrated. We are kindly asking for any contribution, no matter the amount, that would assist us in honoring Aaron’s life. But a “farewell” this is not; this is just a see you later.
