This fundraiser is for Luiza, who has just suffered the unimaginable loss of her husband. He was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer last year, around November. The doctors told them he might have up to five years, but his condition progressed much faster than anyone expected. He passed away within one year.

In May this year, they got married — a beautiful moment they shared together despite everything they were going through. They have an 8-year-old daughter, and Luiza also has two boys from before. Although he wasn’t their biological father, he was the only father they have ever known. He loved all of them deeply.

He was kind, helpful, gentle, and a man with a truly golden heart. He loved Luiza with everything he had.

Luiza is now facing not only the heartbreak of losing her husband, but also the sudden financial pressure of arranging a funeral and supporting her children. She is not able to work right now due to the grief and shock.
